In October, he was detained on charges of defrauding and falsification. He was arrested on charges of falsifying documents in order to obtain a property plot in Kothrud held by a developer and his partner. The court noted that Bajaj's real name is different, that despite not having a license to practice law, he has disputed several cases as a lawyer, and that his release could have an impact on the ongoing inquiry. On the grounds of a petition lodged by municipality builder Aditya Dhadhe, Bajaj was arrested by the Pune crime branch. Rajesh Khairatilal Bajaj had presented paperwork proving that the construction site was in his name, and he had also filed a complaint against Dhadhe at Shivajinagar court. However, an examination found that Bajaj's release document was a forgery. Rajesh Khairatilal Bajaj had applied for bail for the second time. The previous one, which was filed with the chief judicial magistrate court, was subsequently dismissed. The court noted during the hearing that the accused's release agreement dated May 30, 1988, which was executed in his name, was a forgery. It was further stated that upon examination of the above-mentioned deed, it was discovered that the revenue stamp, as well as G L Bajaj's signature, are both fakes. It was also discovered that the government first issued the Re 1on release revenue stamp in May 1994. Rajesh Khairatilal Bajaj claimed that he is innocent and has committed no crime while pleading for bail.
